Q. Do I need to make an appointment?
A: No appointment is ever needed for treatment. Please come in and we will be glad to see you. If you would like to expedite the process, you are welcome to make an appointment. Also, you can print the registration forms and fill them out prior to coming in to our office, making it even faster to be seen.

Q: Do you treat children?
A: We do! We are glad to see adults AND children for tooth pain or trauma as well as regular dental care. We are happy to provide school exams/checkups for your children at your convenience.

Q: What insurance and health care providers do you accept?
A: We accept and file dental insurance with most insurance carriers. In some instances you will be expected to pay for services rendered and your insurance company will reimburse you for any benefits due.

At all locations we are providers for the following insurance carriers:

  • Dental Care Plus
  • Delta Dental PPO
  • Delta Dental Premier
  • DentaPremier Plus
  • Cigna-Radius

Though we cannot be providers with every insurance company, we represent and can file with over 200 insurance plans available in Kentucky and Ohio. Many carriers pay the same in/out network. We are happy to provide you with an estimate based on your plan.

Q: What types of payment do you take?
For patient convenience we accept cash, personal checks (the account holder must be present with a photo ID), CareCredit, CitiHealth Card, Lending Club, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We are glad to accept pre-payments to help you work toward your healthy smile.

A: We are open on all holidays, but our work days may be shorter. Call the Urgent Dental Care location nearest you for more details.

Q: Do you put people to sleep or use nitrous oxide gas?
A. Most patients meet our dentists and realize that they do not need to be sedated or “put to sleep” in order to be given proper care. We can, after a consultation and by appointment, use light sedation or nitrous oxide at the Florence location only. Some of our dentists may also prescribe anti-anxiety medication for patients who they believe are candidates for such a medication.

Q: Will I have to pay the same day I visit your dental office?
A: Yes. We are a fee-for-service dental office. Payment is required to be paid in full at the time of treatment. However, by having an exam in our office, you are not committed to being treated the same day.

Q: What types of payment do you take?
A: For patient convenience we accept cash, personal checks (the account holder must be present with a photo ID), CareCredit, CitiHealth Card, Lending Club, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We are glad to accept pre-payments to help you work toward your healthy smile.
